Dopo alcuni giorni trascorsi a Londra sono rientrato alla base ed ho giocato a due eventi delle FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series), il primo torneo un $1000 freezeout six-handed con 1milione garantito di montepremi con oltre 1300 iscritti.
Esco a ridosso dei 100 con una bad beat, ero leggermente sotto average e questo piatto mi avrebbe scaraventato nei primi 15 con solo 100 giocatori rimasti!
Prendo comunque $1700 per il piazzamento ma la chance di entrare nei primissimi era ghiotta ed a portata di mano.

Il giorno dopo stanco delle molte ore di gioco effettuo comunque il torneo di limit omaha high/low e con 1100 iscritti esco 44esimo con $750 di ricompensa. Questo era forse il mio primo torneo di high/low disputato, quindi non posso lamentarmi.
Una pecca di queste series e’ l’inizio ad ore proibitive, ieri alle 9 di mattina mi si stavano chiudendo gli occhi ed ho dovuto giocare in piedi!

Ho notato che ci sono satelliti nei vari siti per gli eventi delle WSOPE alle quali non vorrei mancare, certo che il buy in e’ piuttosto selettivo, cerchero’ di qualificarmi perche’ almeno l’evento da 5 mila pounds di omaha lo vorrei fare.

Finalmente trovo un po’ di tempo per postare qualche hand history delle varie sessioni giocate in questi giorni di ritorno da Vegas.
Ho giocato esclusivamente su fulltilt durante le ore pomeridiane data anche la mancanza di gioco su betfair in quelle ore.
Dopo alcuni giorni calmi passati al 5-10 con reddito costante e garantito mi sono gradualmente spostato al 10-20 ed al 25-50.
L’obiettivo e’ quello di scalare i limiti entro la fine dell’anno costruendo un banroll molto robusto che mi permetta di giocare il 50-100 con regolarita’. Ora come ora spero di trovare uno staker per la stagione Ept, non voglio impegnare 70 mila euro per giocare tutti i tornei che sarebbe una bella fetta del mio bankroll, cerchero’ ovviamente di qualificarmi settimanalmente e magari optero’ per fare il buy in a qualche evento se un mese girasse particolarmente bene. Come ho scritto in una intervista per cardplayer Italia che trovate cliccando sul seguente link non voglio investire meta’ od un terzo del mio profitto mensile in tornei. Se mi qualifico o se vengo sponsorizzato o stakizzato da qualcuno vado a giocarli ma spendere 8mila euro al mese in tornei puo’ diventare un affare costoso.

Tornando alle mani giocate ringrazio alcune persone che mi seguono su fulltilt quando gioco per complimentarsi quando le cose vanno bene o rincuorarmi quando invece vanno male, mi fa sempre piacere ricevere commenti.

-In questa sessione al 10-20 dopo aver doubleuppato con un set di assi al flop mi trovo con implied pot odds ottime preflop e decido di andare a vedere il flop sapendo gia’ le carte di uno dei miei avversari. Lego top 2 al flop ed un inside straight draw, trovo contro due avversari, uno con top pair e straight draw ed uno con overpair e doppia coppia piu’ bassa. Purtroppo legano un 5 al river che chiude la scala. Da notare al flop ero circa 43% favorito nel vincere la mano.
