Finalmente trovo un po’ di tempo per postare qualche hand history delle varie sessioni giocate in questi giorni di ritorno da Vegas.
Ho giocato esclusivamente su fulltilt durante le ore pomeridiane data anche la mancanza di gioco su betfair in quelle ore.
Dopo alcuni giorni calmi passati al 5-10 con reddito costante e garantito mi sono gradualmente spostato al 10-20 ed al 25-50.
L’obiettivo e’ quello di scalare i limiti entro la fine dell’anno costruendo un banroll molto robusto che mi permetta di giocare il 50-100 con regolarita’. Ora come ora spero di trovare uno staker per la stagione Ept, non voglio impegnare 70 mila euro per giocare tutti i tornei che sarebbe una bella fetta del mio bankroll, cerchero’ ovviamente di qualificarmi settimanalmente e magari optero’ per fare il buy in a qualche evento se un mese girasse particolarmente bene. Come ho scritto in una intervista per cardplayer Italia che trovate cliccando sul seguente link non voglio investire meta’ od un terzo del mio profitto mensile in tornei. Se mi qualifico o se vengo sponsorizzato o stakizzato da qualcuno vado a giocarli ma spendere 8mila euro al mese in tornei puo’ diventare un affare costoso.

Tornando alle mani giocate ringrazio alcune persone che mi seguono su fulltilt quando gioco per complimentarsi quando le cose vanno bene o rincuorarmi quando invece vanno male, mi fa sempre piacere ricevere commenti.

-In questa sessione al 10-20 dopo aver doubleuppato con un set di assi al flop mi trovo con implied pot odds ottime preflop e decido di andare a vedere il flop sapendo gia’ le carte di uno dei miei avversari. Lego top 2 al flop ed un inside straight draw, trovo contro due avversari, uno con top pair e straight draw ed uno con overpair e doppia coppia piu’ bassa. Purtroppo legano un 5 al river che chiude la scala. Da notare al flop ero circa 43% favorito nel vincere la mano.

Il torneo inizia alle 12 di mattina, alzarsi in tempo e’ gia’ una mezza impresa dopo le ore piccole colpa del tavolo dei dadi la sera prima. Arrivo munito di felpa come mi avevano consigliato, l’aria condizionata al Rio e’ pesantissima e rimpiango di non aver portare il cappotto…

Gli iscritti sono poco meno di 600 e le chips di partenza solo 3000. La formula del torneo omaha senza rebuy e con poche chips a disposizione premia molto la fortuna, decido quindi di provare ad accumulare chips nei primi 2 livelli giocando piu’ flops possibile.

Riesco a limitare i danni nella seguente mano, dopo essere salito a circa 3500 chips dopo il primo livello, in un piatto con bui 50-100 non raisato con 2 callers da middle position dove floppo set di 10 facendo call dalla small blind con 10-10-8-9, con un board K-10-6 rainbow chiamando fino al turn la bet del mio avversario dalla BB, al river scende un 9 che chiude una possibile scala ed entrambi checkiamo, lui mostra K-K e mucko il mio set.

In un altra mano senza raise e con 3 callers, questa volta dalla BB mi trovo con A-6-J-4 con nut flush a cuori, al flop scendono K-Q-9 con 2 cuori. Mi trovo con un nut flush draw ed un gutshot alla scala nuts. Early position punta il piatto, bottone fa call ed io con pot odds ottime faccio call dalla BB, il turn e’ un 3 di fiori che non mi aiuta, early position fa 1500, il bottone ci pensa un po’ ma poi folda (e mi confidera’ poco dopo di aver passato un set di Q) ed io sono costretto a passare avendo poco meno del doppio delle chips se avessi fatto call al turn.

Scendo cosi’ a 1400 chips ma risalgo prontamente fino a 2600 quando floppo top set in un piatto senza raise ma con una bet in apertura. Arrivo alla mano decisiva per il mio torneo quando siamo in chiusura del secondo livello, ci sono 2 callers da middle position, il cutoff (giocatore che aveva appena vinto un grosso piatto scoppiando A-A con K-K allin preflop) fa raise del piatto fino a 550, io spillo dal bottone 4-5-6-7 con un suit a cuori e decido di vedere un flop avendo posizione e sperano di indurre anche i due limpers alla call. Uno dei due folda, l’altro fa call.
Il flop e’ ottimo per me, 10-4-6 rainbow, il limper iniziale fa check mentre il raiser fa il piatto, decido di andare all in pensando che avesse un K-K od A-A ( il board sembrerebbe ottimo per chi ha in mano quelle coppie). Con mio rammarico trovo davanti K-K-4-4 per un set al flop. Il turn e’ un 5 che aumenta le mie outs, vinco infatti con i due 5, i due 6 oltre che ai quattro 8 ed ai quattro 3 rimasti. Il river e’ un asso che sancisce la mia uscita dal torneo.
Non sono rammaricato per le scelte fatte, questi tornei turbo come livello di stack sono di difficile gestione se non accumuli chips nei primi livelli.

Provero’ il World Championship Pot Limit Omaha da $10000 di buy in? Magari, decidero’ nei prossimi giorni appena ci muoviamo nella casa, per ora sono in camera con Minieri ed Isaia al Luxor.

Ultime notti passate su Fulltilt ai tavoli omaha, sessioni heads up ed in tavoli da 6.
Alcune sessioni giocate come socio in affari con il buon vecchio Dario Minieri, praticamente copriva meta’ del capitale con il quale entravo al tavolo ed io facevo altrettanto quando lui si sedeva al 200-400 Razz.
Entrare al 50-100 PLO solo con il proprio capitale e’ piuttosto rischioso, gli “swing” possono essere consistenti.

Nelle partite di cash heads up sono uscito sempre in attivo, solo in una sessione al 10-20 ho perso 1 buy in dopo che il mio avversario ha operato un hit and run…

Chiuso sessione notturna con un discreto +2500 al $10-$20 pot limit omaha su Betfair ieri notte.

Tavolo che si rivela ottimo verso le battute finali dove entra una calling station (si, esistono anche ad omaha!) ed un giocatore va in tilt regalando soldi a tutto il tavolo.

Di seguito alcune mani interessanti che mostrano alcuni aspetti interessanti del gioco, come la posizione ed il bluff.

-La mia value bet al river con colore nuts viene chiamata da un giocatore con un colore alla donna (comprensibile) e dalla calling station che aveva un set al flop e l’ha giocato da vero cane, chiamando la puntata al river dove era battuto da qualunque cosa.

- In questa mano effettuo un bluff con successo dopo aver reraisato preflop in posizione. Il flop mi manca completamente ma decido di rappresentare e l’unico giocatore ad avermi seguito molla.
Come potete vedere, il bluff ad omaha e’ piu’ raro che ad holdem ma non assente, fondamentale avere la posizione rispetto agli avversari. Spesso, ultimi a parlare si puo’ provare una steal se tutti hanno checkato davanti a voi, ovviamente ci sono molti altri fattori da considerare come l’immagine che avete al tavolo ed il valore degli avversari.

Fatto sessione heads up su Betfair vista la mancanza di azione ai tavoli da 6 o 10 persone.
Vedo un tipo che conosco e che reputo tight seduto al $25-$50 in heads up ad aspettare, mi siedo con i primi $2000 e lo costringo a due reload. A questo punto mette sul tavolo un reload pieno da $5000 per giocarsela alla pari con i miei $6000.

Purtroppo perdo un paio di piatti grossi che mi costringono a ricaricare di $5000. Alla fine della sessione costringo l’avversario alle corde e chiudo con un discreto +$3500. Considerato che heads up omaha non e’ assolutamente la mia specialita’, sono piuttosto soddisfatto.

Posto alcune mani che hanno cambiato l’esito dello scontro:

-In questa mano il mio avversario trova una fortunosa doppia al flop e capisco che la mia coppia di assi non e’ piu’ buona.
Una puntata al river mi avrebbe probabilmente permesso di portare a casa il piatto.
